Nielsenâs Top Ten data (below) showcases that The Pittâs Season 2 premiere earned 939M minutes viewed, a 10% increase from the seriesâ best (last seasonâs finale).
The ratings of ABCâs High Potential shows no signs of slowing down midway through its second season. The series delivered its biggest seven-day audience to date with the Jan. 20 episode, drawing 12.98M viewers after a week of streaming and other delayed viewing. Thatâs more than double its first-night total of 5.93M viewers, per The Hollywood Reporter.
The release of Amazonâs Melania documentary appears to have sparked an interest in other former first ladies. Netflixâs Michelle Obama documentary Becoming saw a substantial rise in U.S. viewership over the weekend according to Luminate data. The feature, which was released in May 2020, jumped 13,300% in total minutes viewed versus the weekend prior, putting up 47.5M viewing minutes from January 30-February 1, per Deadline.
Variety reports American Idol returned for Season 24 (ABCâs Season 9) on Jan. 26 with its most-watched premiere in four years, averaging 8.27M viewers in live and multiplatform viewing â including ABC, Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and digital platforms.

According to FOX PR, FS1 earned its most-watched college basketball game ever with 1.366M viewers tuning in for the Illinois Fighting Illiniâ victory over the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Sunday.
ESPN PR reports that the Womenâs College Basketball matchup between the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners averaged 1.1M viewers. Overall, Womenâs College Basketball on ESPN networks are pacing up 39% year-over-year.
ESPN PR announces that ESPN networks held 6 of the top 7 games of the week (January 26 - February 1) in Menâs College Basketball. The game between the Kentucky Wildcats and the Arkansas Razorbacks earned 2.4M viewers, the matchup between the Kansas Jayhawks and Brigham Young Cougars gained 2.1M viewers, and the game between the Florida Gators and the Alabama Crimson Tide earned 1.6M viewers.
FOX PR reports the Michigan Wolverineâs win over Michigan State Spartans on FOX College Basketball Friday scored 2.764M viewers. This is the fifth most-watched menâs college hoops game ever on the network.
FOX PR announces that the UConn Huskiesâs victory over Tennessee Volunteers delivered 1.2M viewers Sunday. This is the most-watched Womenâs College Basketball game on any network season to-date.
Griffin Senyek of FrontOfficeSports reports that FOXâs menâs basketball viewership up 69% this season on FOX averaging 1.37M viewers per game, and a 38% increase on cable network FS1. FOXâs womenâs basketball coverage on FOX is up 8% and on FS1 audience increased by 12%.

NBC PR reports that the Lakers-Knicks game earned 4.5M viewers on NBC and Telemundo. This was the most-watched regular season Sunday night NBA game since 2002. The Thunder-Nuggets match-up earned 2.9M viewers on both networks. This is the most-watched Sunday late primetime game to record (excluding Christmas Day).

ESPN PR announces that the matchup between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Boston Bruins averaged 2.1M viewers. This is the most-viewed regular season NHL game since January 2019, the most-viewed regular season NHL game on cable, and ESPNâs most-viewed regular season NHL game on record. Thru 22 games, NHL on ESPN networks is averaging 795k viewers (+39% year-over-year).
ESPN PR showcases that the New York Rangers- Pittsburgh Penguins game averaged 1.4M viewers (+68% increase vs. last seasonâs NHL on ABC coverage) and the Colorado Avalanche and Detroit Red Wings game averaged 1.2M viewers (+38% increase vs. last seasonâs NHL on ABC coverage).

Premier League: Arsenal vs. Aston Villa (Jan 18th): This match hit 1.2M viewers across NBC and Peacock. NBC noted this season is pacing historically strong, even if linear numbers have flattened slightly as more fans migrate to Peacock.
LigaMX: During a recent press event, LigaMX highlighted that fans on ViX are streaming an average of 82 minutes per match, indicating that the streaming audience is staying for nearly the entire game plus halftime/post-game content. ViX reportedly has 50M monthly users.
